Sorry to find another familiar face listed among the "In Memory". It is amazing that I have not thought about any of my LHS classmates for 50 years or so but as soon as I see their face it all comes back. Shirley and I were friends, I remember wanting to ask her out on a date but never did. Was a very nice person hopefully she had a full life.
Shirley was a really nice person. I was new to Florida when I met Shirley she was very nice to me. I always felt a bit out of place, coming from Canada. So sad to see so many of our classmates gone.
For those that don't know, Shirley became an ordained minister & still lived in the Lakeland area when she died. She was a nice lady. If anyone knows her married name, please let me know, & I'll update it.
