Andrew “Andy Papa” Kelsey Pierce, 75, passed away on September 18, 2020, after a brief, but valiant battle with cancer. Born July 31, 1945 in Lakeland, Florida to Charles and Aroline “Pat” Pierce. Andywas active in the church and enjoyed singing in the choir.

A 1963 graduate of Lakeland Senior High School, Andy entered into years of serving the community as both a Sheriff’s Deputy with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office and later in EMS as an Emergency Medical Technician. He enjoyed cooking, canoeing and was an avid stamp collector.
Preceded in death by his parents, Andy is survived by his sister Bridget Rice (John) of Lakeland, FL and his four children Sean Pierce (Jennifer) of Clermont, FL, Genny Sullivan (Don) of Burlington, KY, Shane Pierce (Marcie) of Riverview, FL and Charlie Pierce (Melissa) of Charlotte, NC. He leaves behind nine grandchildren Tori Pierce, Kelsey Pierce, Zack Pierce, Brendan Pierce, Riley Pierce, Shawn Kayley Sullivan, Liam Pierce, Cash Pierce and Maysin Pierce as well as countless friends and extended family.
