Zip was a great classmate for the class of '63, & he was always our go to guy for having reunions at Lone Palm, where he lived for many years. I know that he personally supplied the green beans for our local charity VISTE, Volunteers in Service to the Elderly, for their Thanksgiving meals. These are given out to hundreds of needy seniors on the day before Thanksgiving. I understand that his daughters will continue the tradition. Even after Zip's first stroke, he was a caring friend & arranged lunches at Lone Palm with several classmates including Dick Porte who was suffering from Dementia. He was a loyal friend to Dick. There is a plaque with Zip's name on it at Bonnet Springs Park, & I always search for it while I'm walking there. You were a good friend & will be missed. RIP, Zip.
