Everett & I became friends while he was at LJHS & I was at SWJHS. I lost track of him after LHS, but saw him in the last couple of years at his mother's funeral. Sadly he got an aggressive form of cancer & died last year. He had lost his own wife to cancer a few years before. He was a successful engineer building nuclear power plants across the country.
Everett, I knew him by Buddy, lived down the street from each other in John Cox Elementary and Lakeland Junior High. We played alot of sand lot basebll and football. I remember Buddy as a nice guy, good friend and smart. I knew he went to college with the goal of becoming an engineer but don't remember where. I have many good memories of Buddy.
