Roger Hill, of Lakewood Ranch, FL, started dancing in Heaven on March 1, 2013. He was born in Johnson, City, NY on a dairy farm. As a teenager he moved with his family to Florida and graduated from Lakeland High School. He loved and cherished his family and was a faithful employee of Schroeder Manatee Ranch (SMR) for 43 years. He was dedicated to giving back to his community serving as Director and two-term President of the Manatee County Fair Association; Florida Farm Bureau; Deacon, and Elder in his church; Manatee County Cattlemen Association; Oversaw the construction of Sarasota Polo Club and the Premiere Sports complex in Lakewood Ranch. He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, playing cards, and bee keeping.
He is survived by his wife, Laurie, three daughters; eleven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a sister and seven brothers. He was preceded in death by his son, Ryan Alan, his parents, brother Jimmy, and sister Joan.
