Laurie & I met at Southwest Jr after she & her family moved here from IL. I took Laurie to the Southwest Prom, our only date together. Our joke was that I said her parents paid me to take her, & she said they paid her to go with me. At one time we were co-workers at Florida Tile. She lived in the Orlando area before retiring near Crystal River where she enjoyed scalloping. She died unexpectedly shortly before our 50th reunion. Her brother, Fred "Moe" Koehler, class of '62, & I became life-long friends, & I even wound up marrying his widow, Sherry. I miss you, Laurie.
