Ron was born in Plant City on Aug. 1, 1945, and remained a lifelong resident of the area. He served in the U.S. Navy and was an auxiliary member of the VFW Post 8002. Ron worked in the bus transportation industry for over 55 years. In his spare time he enjoyed gardening and playing with his dog, Trixie. Ron died of heart failure May 23, 2014.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Mary Lewis; four children, Scott, Michele, Pamela and Tracey; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. (Source: Internet)
