I never saw Lee much after High School.
One of the last memories of him in High School was when we were at Bryant Stadium on graduation night. I was standing near him and Kenny Sapp. I remember Kenny looking up at Lee, Lee, even in High School was over 6’ tall, and Kenny saying to Lee…………Toodles, I can’t believe this sh***, we’re finally getting out of here. Kenny Sapp also passed just a few years ago.
Like all, he will be missed.

I liked Toodles (and Hugh and Randy and Jim). One Sunday afternoon Blair Clark, Jody Adams, some others and I, driving recklessly, turned over a Willys Jeep station wagon on Lake Hollingsworth Drive. Toodles and a couple of tough guys drove up and helped us flip the Jeep back up on its wheels. It was badly bent and 2 quarts low on oil (it had poured out on the ground) but we fired it up and got out of there before the cops came, saving Blair a ticket, an insurance hike and who knows what else.
Thanks, Toodles.
